First day of school after Thanksgiving Break

we wake to this...
Just a light dusting... #frosting #snow
I rush to get the kids off to the bus stop ( they have to catch it at 7:10 am ), because there really isn't much snow falling... I mean, just look at it! It really is just a light dusting! I pull up to the bus stop and there is no one there! Great, I didn't check the school district website and I forgot my iPhone at the house. So we drive back home and I check on the computer - 2 hour delay! UGGGG!
So the kids gleefully put on their snow bibs, coats, gloves and boots and go out into the powder to PLAY! After about an hour, they come in... and I have check the website again. This time, it says school is closed for the day. The kids are ecstatic! I am thinking, another vacation day? oh, boy - here we gooooo!

SNOW DAY!
What we are doing today instead of going to school...
(Apparently the roads are too slippery... -_-)
