I went out to do a quick errand and left the house without my diaper bag. Not a big deal, I had fed Little Miss right before we went out and I was only going to be gone for maybe an hour. Well, as I am about done with my errand - Julieanna - who had been quiet and content the whole time - let me know it was nap time. She was very polite about it, just quietly fussing a bit to get my attention and then I heard sucking noises and looked down to find this...
Actually, it was the middle two fingers that she found when she was in the car seat - but this was what I found when I checked on her during her afternoon nap. I hope that I can get her to stick with the pacifier... but if this is what she needs to self-soothe... then so be it.

Oh, little miss…your cousin Lincoln loves his middle fingers too. I'm sure if he will ever suck his thumb like his older brother. Fingers are better than pacifiers anyhow! ;0)
