Tanner is in Kindergarten!
He was so excited to go to school! Now he is big - like his sisters and gets to go to their school - everyday!
He loves his teacher and she has nothing but great things to say about him. He is becoming such a big boy - we are very proud of him.
Lindsey is now in 2nd grade and reading at a 3rd grade level.
She could not wait for school to start again and WAS excited about having homework again... not so much now that she is required to do it. One thing I am learning about this little girl is, she is more apt to do things on her terms, only if it is HER idea. So, we have to work some psychology on her - learn how to present things in such a way so that she believes she is deciding what is to be done. She certainly must have been one of those valiant spirits in the pre-existence who "saw right through" Lucifer's presentation of The Plan.
There is no way she could have lived with someone else making her choices for her!
Emily - our big 4th Grader!
She is such a joy! And she is the 2nd Mom in the house.
(she's me, 25 years younger)
She has such a desire to do what is right and to please me and all the adults around her.
She is a bit of a perfectionist and tends to get frustrated when she
can't get everything done in the manner she wishes to...
She is playing soccer again this year with Daddy as the Assistant Coach, still taking piano lessons and is trying to be a part of the orchestra at school - playing the violin! She is growing so fast - literally - and she doesn't sit still at all, so we are finding that she doesn't take the time to eat enough and her blood sugar tends to drop dramatically at times. So, we are trying to get her in the habit of eating more often during the day. She makes me tired just trying to keep up with her!
Julieanna is a little ball of sunshine!
Peek-a-boo! I see you!
She's 9 months old
She's crawling everywhere - pulling up on things and cruising around everywhere. She loves to vocalize her presence in the room by calling out loudly all sorts of sounds, "MaMa", "DaDa", "BaBa", "LaLa", "NaNa" "Ah-da", and any loud sound to get our attention. She also likes to growl and sing and she just started perfecting her "rasberry". So, spitting is one of her favorite things to do with her mouth - besides eat! She also likes to give kisses - open mouth slobbery ones. But we love them!

Since when did Lindsey cut her hair short? Wait, did she have short hair when we were out there? I cannot remember. Super cute…all of your kids.
