A Baby Blessing

We blessed Julieanna Blair Watts on January 3rd, 2010. Such a significant day on so many levels...
Just two years ago, on the first Sunday of the year 2008, I gave birth to an angel. Felicity Marie Watts went back Home, triumphant and crowned with glory, without having to travel this - often harsh - earthly life on this same day, 2 years ago.
My emotions were a bit difficult to control, as my heart pondered the miracles of life... there are so many.
The stirring power of my husband, taking Julie in his arms and surrounded by righteous men - Clifford, Robert, Troy, Chad, James, Jason and Micheal - drawing upon the power of the priesthood, to give our daughter a name and a blessing. It moved me to tears. Blessing her with health and strength so that she would be able to run and play - and blessing her with the desire to choose the right, to please her Heavenly Father. I am grateful that Jared is worthy to pronouce such blessings.
