Watcha doin'?

Wow! It has been awhile since updating this... May and June have come and gone and I haven't been very good about documenting what's been going on! May brought Jared's 34th Birthday: My husband's tastes are pretty simple - it is amazing what you can do with yellow cake, chocolate frosting and some white frosting, food coloring and plastic baggies with the tiniest bit of the corner cut off. The kids had a great time squirting frosting onto the cupcakes and making their own designs: By the middle of May, Tanner's T-Ball games came to a close and he received his first trophy! He already talks about wanting to play "real baseball - not t-ball". Daddy is so proud! Emily had her first piano recital also in the middle of May. We were very happy for her, as she was very happy with her performance - she did a GREAT job!
Then, the end of May we had Tanner's pre-school promotion - check out our cute 4 year old!

He attends a preschool supported by the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and Pastor Chris comes almost every afternoon, plays the guitar and sings with the kids. Tanner LOVES it! The beginning of June meant the beginning of SUMMER VACATION! School was out June 5th. Emily completed 2nd Grade and Lindsey "graduated" from Kindergarten. Lindsey just LOVES school and will miss her teacher Mrs. Hancock immensely. Here is our little miss "Lindsey Lou" participating in The Pledge of Allegiance and accepting her teacher's congratulations for her year of hard work: Lindsey also enjoys singing and was so excited to sing this special ABC song with the rest of the Kindergarteners that day. She was so cute it brought tears to my eyes! We have the footage on our video camera so I couldn't post it - but, ain't she sweet?
