My darling baby boy is 4 years old (as of February) and
so not a baby anymore. He still loves to cuddle and suggle with me, his blanket and his thumb. But, loves to play with the "big boys". Did I tell you he just started T-ball? Well, here he is with his favorite pal Tyson.

Goooo Cougars!

He loves to practice baseball with his Daddy and Jared is so thrilled to be teaching his young son all his skills. Tanner hit another milestone that makes him seem like such a big kid just the other day. He is now riding his bicycle without training wheels! So the backround of the day Tanner rode without his training wheels is as follows: We had to purchase a bigger bike for Lindsey so that she could ride along with the other kids in the family. We bring the new bike home and Daddy promptly adjusts the seat and makes sure Lindsey is comfortable with her new bike. She is, so she puts her helmet on and proceeds to ride out in the court. Tanner's bike is next. The seat needs to be raised as well and the training wheels are a bit bent and have been making it difficult for Tanner to ride like he wants to. Daddy proceeds to take off the training wheels and intends to put Lindsey's old, smaller bike's training wheels onto Tanner's bike. "No Dad, I don't need those! I know how to ride a bike Dad." Daddy says, "Are you sure buddy?" "Yeah, Dad. Watch!" The kid has no fear! He gets on and takes off. A few crashes and scrapes later, he's riding around the court!

Jared had a great time helping Tanner begin mastering his bike riding skills. Check this out!
(Emily is riding her roller blades in the background of the video)
Emily has been a bike riding pro (riding without training wheels) since just before she turned 5. Lindsey is much more cautious and deliberate about everything she does. She takes her time and she is just fine with that. She is 6 now and just getting comfortable with a bike. She enjoys her roller blades more, I think.
